On February 15, 2019 Castleton Center Package Car Driver Steve Lawson was inducted into the UPS Circle of Honor. Steve began his career at UPS as a part-time employee on January 2, 1986 and became a package car driver 3 years later on May 16, 1989. Steve achieved 25 years of safe driving on February 15, 2019. Steve readily admits that it took him almost 30 years of driving to get to the Circle of Honor because as a young driver he took too many chances. Steve would like to tell all of the young drivers to be a safe driver by following the safe driving methods. The 5 seeing habits and the 10 point commentary are designed to create a safe driver. Learn the methods and follow the methods to ensure a safer driving experience not only in the workplace but also in your personal car. The Executive Board and Staff at Teamsters Local Union No. 135 congratulate Steve on this fine accomplishment.
