The Teamsters Education and Recreation Fund’s Annual Golf Outing held on June 22, 2024 was a great success. 116 players enjoyed a day of golf raising money for the Fund. Several prizes and awards were handed out during the meal after the round of golf.
Zach Williams, employed by Eastside Dairy, won the grand prize of $1,200 from the ticket sales leading up to the event. Eric Ogle, employed by Eastside Dairy, won $600 for selling the winning ticket. Chuck Jones, employed by Builders First, won $800 and $400 by being both the buyer and seller of the smaller ticket sale.
The UPS team of Steven Smith, Travis Howard, Nick Slater, and Zachary Yurack won the First Place Team prize of $400 cash, 4 $25 Cabela’s Gift Cards, and 4 $25 Shapiro’s Gift Cards.
The CSX team of Travis Wells, Dustin Wells, Lee Stultz, and Clayton Cunningham won the Secon Place Team prize of $200 cash and 4 $25 Smokey Bones Gift Cards.
The Sysco team of Sam Ward, Jeff Parker and his son, and Larry Burks won the Third Place Team prize of $100 cash, 2 $25 Dunkin Donuts Gift Card, 1 $25 Panera Bread Gift Card, and 1 $25 Buffalo Wild Wings Gift Card.
Travis Howard, employed by UPS, won the Longest Drive prize of $50 cash and a $25 Bass Pro Gift Card.
Patrick Berry, of Northwind Pharmaceuticals, won the Closest to the Pin prize of $50 cash and a $25 Bass Pro Gift Card. A total of 8 Prize Packages were won by Ryan Choiniere of Northwind Pharmaceuticals, Ruth Kite of Local 135, John Ladson of Local 135, Brian Weisling of Linde Gas, Ryan Cote of Local 135, Paul Dwigans of Local 135, and Robert Starwalt of Prairie Farms who won 2 Prize Packages.
