The following message ONLY applies to members covered by Teamcare.

Read this post and take action by next Friday, December 25 if you have ineligible dependents on your Teamcare plan.

“TeamCare is conducting a full Dependent Review on all participants who have dependents (spouse, children, step-children, etc.) covered under the TeamCare plan.  This project is to ensure that all dependents on the Plan meet the eligibility rules.

As part of this review, TeamCare has offered an amnesty forgiveness period to any participant who may have an ineligible dependent(s) currently covered under TeamCare. During this amnesty period, a participant can remove ineligible dependent(s) without any consequences. To date, we have had many participants take advantage of this forgiveness period and remove an ineligible dependent.

This is a reminder that the amnesty forgiveness period ends on October 25, 2024.   Any member who still wants to remove an ineligible dependent during the amnesty forgiveness period must notify our vendor – The PDA Verification Team – by phone at 833-273-6244 on or before October 25, 2024. 

After the amnesty period closes, TeamCare (through our vendor PDA) will begin the verification process of all dependents by requesting copies of legal documents on all covered dependents.”
